There have been a lot of list threads on the forums recently, why not make it one more?

As 2023 comes to a close, what personal awards would you like to give out in your year in review? Ex: New to Me Blend of the Year, Pipe Acquisition of the Year, Tobacco Release of the Year, etc.

Feel free to make up your own categories.

Gonna do something a little different here:

NTM best blend of the year: Mac Baren HH Acadian Perique
NTM worst blend of the year: Cascadia Open Water
Pipe acquisition of the year: Savinelli Porto Cervo 122 rusticated bent pot
Online retailer of the year: (drumroll please...) P&C! I can't believe it myself, but it is true.

I can't wait to see what 2024 brings. Well, I guess I can, I mean, it's only about three more weeks... 😁

A lot of new-to-me blends this year because I've been popping all the tins in my cellar like the end is coming and I've got mud in my big red eye. I've been purchasing too.

New-to-me standouts:

KBV B. Frog's Peaty Hunt
KBV Mycroft
Savinelli 140

Pipe of the year:

Chris Asteriou sandblasted cutty.

I don't jump on new releases. I bought some Steamworks but I haven't popped it yet.

Edit: was Peaty Hunt released this year? I guess it would take the prize.

Don't forget the Wanker of the Year Award lol
It'd be impossible to judicate, with so many candidates you'd break the Internet!
Bad enough here... We've got English wankers, Welsh wankers, jock wankers, Irish wankers. Turn to the US & you'll realise there's so many you'd have to do it by state! Pennsylvanian wankers, hawaian wankers (aloha!) etc. etc.
See what I mean?
Having said that, alaska and Kentucky would be joint / hand in hand winners in that department (so to speak) if you asked me, which I know you didn't, but there we go. Freedom of speech and all that. Lol
