I have my suspicions that SWR and Granger are identical blends with different casing/topping; they smoke eerily similar. I like SWR.
Interesting observation, you might be right. I've smoked Granger myself and now that I think about it, putting aside the taste differences, the cut and burn characteristics are very similar to each other. Are the base tobaccos the same, SWR uses two different burleys blended together, what about Granger?

After tasting, analyzing, researching and spitting tobaccoes. I follow the same pattern. Except for the hot months, I reduce my tobacco a lot with latakia. In summary, Virginia all year round and Latakia in cold season. Yesterday fall came and we are at 29º of temperature in the southeast of Spain.....................

It’s getting a tad cooler and rainy here on the southern west coast of Canada. Feeling a little more drawn to the Latakia. I was into some nice vaper flakes and Kentucky when it was hotter out. Since I do my own blending I can tailor things to my needs anytime I want. I’m heading into a burley/Latakia/perique phase at the moment, really diggin on this combo for cool burning, strong and flavourful smokes.
