On another note, finding tobacco that isn't already in the box and isn't run of the mill was difficult, and fitting more in is not an easy task. So, rather than try to do a poor job of selecting, I made the tough decision to put something special from my own more secret stash in. I cannot reveal my source for this, but I have added my last unopened box of Japanese Kizami tobacco. This is the real stuff, not some shag cut nonsense sold under the name. It takes finesse to smoke, and it dries quickly once open. The strands look like hair, and it has a pleasant Virginia like flavor, with a touch of incense spiciness. I, of course, don't expect everyone to have a kiseru, so I included a brand new Tsuge kiseru for everyone to use. Take a pinch of the tobacco, roll it into a ball about the size of the chamber (which is quite small), pack it lightly, light it from a distance, you'll see the hairs redden, and sip very gently. It only smokes for a few minutes with light sipping, and is a totally different experience. There is enough in a box for many to try. But don't limit yourself to a single bowl, try it a few times and get an idea of the experience.
