Good Morning All,
I haven't posted here, but I do lurk quite a bit. Too busy trying to make some pipes
Some of you may know me from a few other places on the interwebs.
The Kansas City Pipe show is coming up next weekend and I wanted to remind everyone about the North American Carvers Contest and the raffle associated with it. This year's shape is the Billiard and the competition is going to be very stiff. Due to Missouri Gaming regulations we cannot sell tickets for the raffle at the show (it's on casino property). In order to purchase tickets to win the 7 Day Set you must go to the Greater Kansas City Pipe Club's website. There are only 300 tickets for this raffle. They are 1 for $25 or 5 for $100. You need not be present to win.
A 1 in 300 chance in winning a 7 Day Set of Billiards by the top carvers in North America....sounds like great odds to me. So, help support North American Carvers as the proceeds from the raffle are split between the winning carvers.
Oh, I almost forgot why I started this little rant. Can you tell I'm a blonde? IF all 300 tickets are sold I will be holding a second chance raffle and will make the winner a pipe after the show.
Good luck to all!
Scottie
