The Las Vegas show was fun. I only spent four hours there on Saturday, but the wife and I were in town for several days all together and it was a great short vacation. I would like to go back next year, but we'll see how things pan out.

I have already requested vacation for the Chicago Pipe Show. Baron, I really look forward to meeting you.

Another fine year ahead. I plan on attending Newark in March, Chicago shortly thereafter in May, CORPS in October and West Coast Pipe Show in Nov. And if I can possible arrange some extra time away I may do a couple others. Always great events to plan ahead and meeting more forum members.

I'm about to book my flight for St.Louis. I'll be at the front of a line of guys in black hooded robes following Russ around.

Are there any east coast pipe shows?
Yes! Two really good shows! Newark in the spring and Richmond/CORPS in the fall!
St Louis and Chicago are locked in. Kansas City and Las Vegas are as usual going to depend on work. I always go to any show/swaps the Great Northern Pipe Club puts on. I realize that we all can't fly to a show and no event will ever be held on the perfect day and place but please make any effort you can to get to a show this year. You don't need a pile of cash to enjoy a show. Just being able to visit with and enjoy a pipe with fellow collectors is worth a long drive. 8O

Last year at the Chicago Pipe Show, several guys were raving about Portillo's restaurant. Forget that place. Meet up with me and I will introduce you Giordano's Pizza. It is about 1/2 mile from the Pheasant Run resort. Chicago's best stuffed pizza.

FYI, if you really like their pizza, they will FedEx them nationwide.

The closest shows are either Chicago or KC which are still a 12 hour drive for me, but maybe if I can find some time off school and work.
