how does it smoke? I have seen a few pass through the bay and even though I usually get outbid I am still interested in his work.

I've only got 10-20 bowls in it so far, all Escudo, but it's already smoking great. It's light for its size (has a bamboo shank), and feels good in the hand.
That's my unsophisticated pipe review.
