You can always pick up tobacco one tin at a time. A good pipe requires a solid chunk of change; personally I'd spend the money on new pipe; probably that Neerup poker.

Boy those Neerups are beautiful for the $$, but then so was everything posted here. Hard to stay focused!

Yes indeed, a nice selection. You could get the Neerup and another good pipe, and

keep it close to $200. Consider buying bulk tobacco for your immediate needs and

squirrel away tins from time to time for the future. I'm not so sure about developing

a huge tobacco cellar. It's fine as a sort of adjunct hobby, but I'm dubious of the

visualized shortage or vast price increases. Pipe smoking is still a somewhat

marginal interest and I don't see this prohibition or steep price increase as imminent.

It seems to me that blends and single-leaf offers are improving and expanding.

Prices aren't prohibitive, especially if you smoke only a few bowls a day or less.

I think I've decided to go for the pipe option. That damn Mark Tinsky and his beautiful pipes have their talons deep in my flesh. I really like the club pipe 2012 in Naked Coral or possibly one of the Blasts. I don't get to smoke a lot so I'm ok with we're my cellar is and the wife will let a tin or two slip in here and there but never a nearly $200 pipe so it seems to be my best option. I may still go with a Neerup though and get my sights I want for my ruger and still have about $50 to spend on tobacco.

That Tinsky rusticated Canadian is outrageous. I'd have a hard time not letting the $200.00 go on that pipe if I had it freed up.
