Can't beat a '40s Dunhill. I like it a lot. Great looking pipe that should clean up very nicely.

Wish there were sideview pictures. Looks to be a very craggy sandblast Almost looks rusticated. like the reddish colored stain.

The stem doesn't look chewed up at all.

Looks to me like it would clean up pretty nice. As an enabler, I say "Do It!"

The stems looks original and an easy cleanup. Price is too good to pass up, hope you got that one.

I love the color it developed over the years. Someone took good care of it. It Looks in great shape for it's age. I don't see any marks on the stem; should be an easy cleanup. Hope you got it.
I'm surprised that a Dunhill of that era sold for that little.
I would like to get one from 1942, my birth year, but I don't think many were made then, because of WW II.
