Yes, I had heard of Kaywoodie being made in England, but some were stamped as such. PipePhil has many Kaywoodie examples from other countries. [Sorry to go off-thread here.]

It seems the off-kilter to shank panelled bulldog was a popular shape theme back then, as were geometric themes [8, 6, 4 panel]. We all know the other manufacturers indulging in the shape were Sasieni, GBD, Comoy, Barling, Charatan, Kaywoodie... and Dunhill of course. Your Collegian has a Sasieni look to it, perhaps.
