1905 Barling Motor Dome

Not a new pipe, but just received from Geoff Watson of Cambridge Pipe Repairs, who did his usual sterling job cleaning up this pipe

I wish

The stem had some divots that needed filling
Overall the stummel was in pretty good shape, except for a few scratches and some very small dings in the silver rim
The silver band was clocked the wrong way around.

I decided that Geoff would do an infinitely better job on it than I
And he is a gentleman to boot

Taking this, and it's brother (the straight motor dome) out this weekend

Not just that. According to Barling's literature, it's also useful on the yacht as well.

Yes, I rather fancy a run in a Bentley drop head coupe

In all reality the 17year old Honda doesn't really cut the mustard.
Perhaps if I open the sun-roof ?
