At 19 pipe money is better spent on girls and books imo. You'll have plenty of time to pontificate with a pipe ahead.

Lane BCA, it's the only tobacco for me, personally, that I can smoke all day without bite. It's flavorful but not overpowering. I've tried 1Q as well, and it taste similar, but to me, it has a slight chemical flavor and burns a bit hotter for me at least. Also, I recommend trying some English blends. I recommend Frog Morton Cellar and Frog on a Log (original). Dunhill 965 my first English. I loved it!

Welcome to the pipe world.

I am going to simply share my standard advice to new pipe smokers. Smoke the best tobaccos you can afford in the best pipes you can afford. Be patient - there's no hurry. And enjoy.
