I practically have the same thing:

But I admit that the case isn't as nice as yours.

Mine comes in at 11 1/4 inches. Fancy band, check. Long stem, check. Old pipe, check. Nearly Identical!

I'm at a loss for words. I can't say I have seen a more beautiful pipe from any era. That piece of history is one to cherish.

Jesse, a mouth-watering, flamboyant-good acquisition., perfect in every respect and in astounding condition at 150 years old. I'm very happy for you!

After an initial cleaning I decided to send the pipe to George for a protective coating on the chamber walls. At this advanced age, the briar needs some protection if I'm going to fire it up, and even if I decide against it. The burl that was used to make this pipe was probably growing when Napoleon was Emperor of France.
Again, thank you all for your kind sentiments. I hope to be able to bring this pipe to the WCPS for anyone who wants to see it in person.

Well, most Friday mornings I've experienced have been in the A.M.!.... But PM works fine, too. Are you leasing a Brinks truck to take it to LV??
