I have moseyed around on the Internet today, but have had little (no) luck. I was wondering if anyone can post or knows of nice photographs of some older BRIAR pipes from the late 1800s? I guess in a broader context, it would be interesting to see ANY photographs of briar pipes from the late 1800s to perhaps the 1940s.
For me, it is interesting and fun just to see many of the variances in these beautiful old tools.

From pipedia, an early design from St. Claude, the birthplace of briar pipes.

Jesse (sablebrush52) has a few, even a magnum. I have a KB&B from 1912 with an orific amber stem that, prior to my ownership, was unsmoked

and a patent era Linkman's Dr Grabow from the early '30s.

Wow! The Dr. Grabow... especially beautiful to me... as that is probably my favorite shape of Dr.Grabow in modern pipes. I have had many (modern) variants of that shape.
