Interesting. I like 1792 and have tins in the cellar but have not purchased any in a year or two. Have there been many concerns over current production being different than past ones?

I'm not speaking of one-offs...I've seen the rare batch differences....but is there a general noticeable concerning trend? IF QC is declining or if recipe's are being toyed with...that would be unfortunate as I view SG as one of the very few remaining privately held/boutique blending houses.

Thanks for any comments & thoughts.
There was one guy on here that swore it has changed, that was a few years ago. I’ve not noticed any discernible difference but I finished stocking up on the stuff a few years ago. They used to use real Tonquin Bean but they switched to synthetics in the 50’s, I believe. Other than that there is no proof that this blend has changed anymore than any blend changes over the years, tobacco being a plant and all.

PS. There is always at least one guy on here crying about how his favorite blend has changed, so take it with a grain of salt.

does anyone know if theres anymore 1792 out there from the recent stock?

Not sure, This one goes pretty fast after a drop that's why I bought 2.

I'd be willing to sell the unopened box though if you are interested.

Just shoot me a pm.

I'd be willing to sell it for what I paid for it plus shipping of course.

My next question is how dry was it?

It was good out of the box I thought so I didn't dry it at all.

My recent purchases of SG blends in the box have had pretty good moisture from opening with the exception of the FVF. The FVF was pretty wet but I purchased that one a while ago.
