100 Smokes in the Owl

Posted this progression in the WAYS thread, but here's a thread just for it. Smoked 100 times since February 2nd with no internal cleaning.

Wish I could get my Altinok Santa Claus meerschaum to color like that. I guess I should smoke it more often. I smoke 3 or 4 bowls a week in the pipe.

I averaged 3-5 smokes per day in it. I think the lack of cleaning really accelerated the coloring.

I'll try your method. I'm just alittle leery about building cake in the bowl.

Wow, that's incredible. Not cleaning after every smoke really helped to color it.

I love the colour change by quarters, if you think to do the same for the next couple of hundred smokes it would make for a satisfying stop motion movie!

Originally I had only planned on smoking it exclusively for the first 100 smokes, but I think it'll be my only smoker for a while. I really enjoy it.

Now that I've done it, I don't know. I expected the worst with the owl but it never happened.
