BTW, SPC/P&C are not fools. They calculate by the year. I bet the cost ends up the same, but you remain a return customer, which saves them money trying to find new customers.

Excellent point DM. Too be honest I didn't really give it a second thought. I bought most of my pipe with trade ins. And my new Becker Pot is a wonderful smoke.
I remain mostly happy on most days.
