There has been a vast, unprecedented accumulation of wealth in the top 1/10th of 1% of the world's population over the last couple of decades. For some of them, spending 2.7 million on a bottle of scotch is like one or two hundred for us peasants.Yes, people have more money than sense.

Yet here in the USA the peasants continue to support the current system that keeps the 1/10 of the 1% accumulating wealth generation after generation. That bottle will probably sit in a warehouse tax free until it goes up for auction again.
I actually think the majority of Americans want major change. It's just that we don't agree on what those changes should be.
Some of us want to return to being a Constitutional Republic, and some want something very different from that. Unfortunately we seem to be at a point of irreconcilable differences. It's all divide and conquer, while the Kleptocrats laugh all the way to the bank.
