Ok, now I’m actually in. Looking forward to playing along in year’s pyramid scheme.

Plugs/ropes/cigars please. I’m not fussy, but the boys in customs can be 🤙🏼
Forgive my ignorance, is this because these are less processed, less perceivable as tobacco, or because they are usually bulk format as opposed to tins?

To the best of my knowledge, it is a crap shoot. Perhaps a Christmas miracle will happen. I'm sure others have more experience with customs regarding tobacco shipments to PMSS participants.

This is addressed to my Secret Santa:

1. Here is a reference photo of tiny sample pack I got from someone I know and definitely can't call a friend yet. Although most tobaccos were at least 10 years old, I didn't appreciate that the most interesting and old ones (30+ years) were carelessly packed in stretch foil...also there wes just 2-3 bowls worth of tobacco in them... absolutely unacceptable!!!
This being said, anything less than that, will be considered offensive!
Here is the reference photo:

2. You might have read that if people send more than two tins, or if they send pipes - they're perceived as showoffs... That's total bull crap! You will be heavily judged if you don't send at least one nice pipe, no cheapos or common/ standard pipes either. If you are not sure what I would like, just check this thread for reference - anything similar to those pipe will be considered 1761468997475.gif

3. If you have the genius idea to check for clues, about what I am sending to my giftee and then decide how much of your generosity I deserve, just know that I love jokes and I am also a dad... So when say that I am buying coal to send, or if I mentioned mold in connection to a tobacco that I am planning to send - that's all dad jokes!

The thought of me being incredibly greedy, might have crossed your mind for a second, but rest assured I am actually looking out for you with this post... We all know that our reputation in this forum is the most important thing in our lives and the last thing I want is for you to jeopardise yours.

P.S. please keep in mind that I am a professional photographer, so when I receive your amazing package, i will make sure to take some incredible photos (unatural shine and all my other tricks) of the goodies you sent me. At the same time I will put even more effort in drawing the attention of the viewers to any potential lack of pipes, stinginess, bad packaging, lack of handwritten personal note and lack of extra accessories like tampers or lighters.

Joyous Yuletide
