I'm in again, too (pending Mike's receipt and approval of my registration email).
If you get me, your job is easy because I'm thankful for anything.
But... if you just want any sense of direction:
I reach for VAs more than for anything else. Brown flakes with some natural sweetness are my favorite (e.g. Best Brown, etc.). I also like reds (not only the top shelf ones -- for instance I always thought that TS1R was really good) and some darks (if a little sweet, and not overly bitter or burnt tasting, for example I loved Dark Flake and Astley's 44). I don't normally love yellows, but Ampersand persuaded me that I could love a yellow if sweet and silage-y.
I like perique as a light background note; but, there's such a thing as too much perique for me. For instance, Elizabethan was higher percentage than I prefer.
I like Lakeland sauce, but I don't like burley, so that limits which Lakelands I like. My favorites are Ennerdale, Broken #7, Cannon Plug, Grousemoor, and Bob's Chocolate. (Any burley in these is too low for me to notice)
I like Balkans, especially with Yenidje and a bit of natural sweetness. My go-to is Peretti's Royal Blend.
Non-Lakeland aromatics are very hit-and-miss for me. Some very natural ones I really appreciate, e.g. Vanilla Roll Cake. But I don't reach for typical aromatics very often.
I do not love burley or cigar leaf.
But again, very thankful for anything!
