I moved south of the border 23 years ago, when I was 15, but still got a Happy Canada Day text this morning.

Wishing all Canadians a Happy Canada Day. We tend not to think of Canada often, but it is always great to have a staunch ally when you've bitten off a little bit more than you can chew.
Although I spent the first 15 years of my life there, I'm actually not Canadian by citizenship. I was born in the US to American parents a few months before they moved to Canada for 15 years. I was their oldest. My siblings were all born during those 15 years so they have dual-citizenship.
Sorry for any misunderstanding. I moved south of the Canadian border. I live in WI.
