The Pipe in The Knick
Just watched the Fargo episode (s03e07) with the pipe scene. First I thought the pipe was a Pete but maybe not. A Wellington or something similar perhaps. I loved how she doesn't ask for permission but just declares "I'm going to smoke.": I like this second season even more than the first one...- jarit

Hoarding and Panic Buying
Very interesting thread and very interesting thoughts all around! I'm personally on a rather meager fixed income and thus unable to hoard tobacco, but I'm pretty much OK with it. At least I'm getting better in giving up on things like tobacco. I would prefer to smoke my regulars FVF and St.James...- jarit

Does Anything Really Smoke Better Than A Cob?
Interesting thread. I personally don't care for cobs at all. I like well made things and I guess the ersatz nature of cobs doesn't grab me. That is one of the reasons I honestly can't claim that I could judge only the "smokability" of a given pipe. However, I wouldn't have any problems...- jarit
