    This nice volcano shaped estate was picked up recently by a fellow smoker...(picture coming). The only stamping on are "Mikelin 3". Can anyone give us some info on this? Thanks

    Snow and Pipes

    Snow's okay but the 10 degrees and wind chill of -5 have limited my pipe smoking to in the truck back and forth to work for the last week. Maybe I'll find some nice long johns under the Christmas tree..

    TAPS Pipe & Tobacco Show

    I made to over to Raleigh, NC for the TAPS (Triangle Area Pipe Smokers) Show this past Saturday. I had a great time talking to all the guys. Pick up quite a bit of tobacco and drooled over several great looking pipes. I wish I lived closer so that I could become an active member of this group.

    I've heard the stories about how 'Elegant Emu' was named and at 1st I thought I was looking at the emu...but upon viewing some pictures of both birds I can't say for sure that this is an Emu. Looks more like an ostrich. But from what I understand there is not much difference between the two.
