I just cut open a 8oz bag I got in February. I rubbed out some of the most broken flake and let it dry a couple of hours. This thing is FANTASTIC! Question 1: Does this thing blossom? There is some white stuff on it. Question 2: How do you guys like to pack it? It seems like the flakes break...- dnietosi

I still have mixed feelings about this one. Sometimes it delivers a wonderful smoke, sometimes is just blah... I think drying is part of it so make sure it is dry enough. I have tried cube cut and rubbed, definitely it makes a difference but I wont be able to say which one is better. I guess...- dnietosi

Question about Flake
Either the tobacco is not dry enough or the packing is not proper. Too tight might cause the pipe to go off very fast because of the lack of oxygen. Too lose might be a problem too but it is not very common with flakes. Try to cube cut it and dry it out a bit. :puffy:- dnietosi

I made a sampler myself, at JFH. It is cheaper to buy whatever you want to try by weight than getting the pre-made sampler. STM and ROI are very good very mild English blends.
