You either hate it or love it (1792)

Hi. Just smoked a couple of tins some months ago. I liked but not to the point to have it in my usual rotation. Some of you complained about a persistence I never noticed but I'm quite surprised no one mentioned the fact that is absolutely refractory to ignition..... I even tried mummification...

Post a Pic of Your Favorite Pipe

My favourite pipe is this Winslow's Elliot freehand (graded E) I bought some yeas ago when a pipe from Winslow was quite more affordable. It was love at first sight and of course I like the shape, its haptic feeling and the textures of the wood. It's a small one (about 13 cm. X 29 gr.)...

Possibly going to London and Dublin

I think adam12 has a point but since you'll be in London I suggest you to go to the Segar & Snuff parlour in Covent Garden (it's a shop on the first floor). A very small old fashioned tobacconist I think it may be worth a visit. They have their own mixtures and sell some pipe also, maybe you can...

    New Member

Hi Stuart. Here's my welcome as a fellow newbie and from old europe too! I started smoking pipe back in '95 with a bent BC cocarde. It was my first pipe and at the time of course I was unable to appreciate its quality. I just smoked it for some year enjoying the pleasure of the pipe in itself...

    In Regards to Tattoos

I have four tats and only black ink of course. They all mark a significant moment in my life (a finish line or a starting point). As a representation of my history I consider them a sort of scars. So I'm not happy when a complete stranger asks how and why.
