Inhaling smoke, to do or not to do?

As a casual (1-3 times per month) pipe smoker, and as a Nursing student. I would advise not inhaling. I have been smoking a pipe for only 11 months, but have been toking cigars since I was 18 (now 27), and in my opinion both cigars and pipes are better to be enjoyed with puffing, and then the...

    Newbie found out about PAD

Deyro, I disagree, but only slightly. If I was not a member of a community of pipe smokers and pipe smokers who post thousands of pics of their beautiful pipes all the time, then I would not have been exposed to the beauty and limitless variety. I would have purchased more with or without...

Will do, I picked up the shapes that I felt I "needed" and am pretty set with what I have. Also I have some Cheapos that I care nothing for and will practice my cleaning / restoring on those.

Cleaning With Alcohol - What Alcohol?

@Sirsmokesalot, Wife and I are planning on moving to Wilmington in the next two years... after I finish Nursing school. Any thoughts on the area / city? EDIT: sorry got excited and forgot to add that I use wild turkey 101. I do not drink it much, but at 11$ a bottle I think it works fine...

What to do with an estate pipe

Yet another thread that will help me tremendously. Thanks all. BTW Bailey I have used the boiling water trick recently after reading that on here, and it only took 15 minutes to clean out 4 terribly caked bowls.

Pipes that make me stop and stare.

Sorry guys I had just posted the link of the oldest Nintendo player to my grandparents... It is a video about a 100 year old woman from England who is keeping her mind sharp by playing brain teasers on her Nintendo Ds. No trojans or any other virus attached... just bad cut and paste. The site I...

    First Attempt

Oh and Seth, sorry forgot to thank you for the explanation. Would it be wrong to use a dremel to strip the cake back down to bare wood, then attempt the salt and booze treatment? Next question is everclear the best because of alcohol content? Everything I have read from older books talks about...
