    Show Off Your Petersons Here!

I am slowly working toward completing a collection of Peterson SPD and Christmas pipes for each of my kids’ birth years (2014, 2017, 2020, 2023). My long-goal goal is to have a matching set of shape 106s (only one of three shapes common to all eight releases) but in the meantime, I’m just...

STG update from your good friend Bradley

Yeah I'd expect the cigar lines of business are far more lucrative than anything pipe tobacco related.

Who is your Favorite Current Artisan Pipe Maker ?

Chris Askwith is at the top of my list right now. His shank transitions are incredible and I'm a huge fan of the polyester stems.

    Questions on Virginia Blends

If you've smoked FVF and didn't enjoy it, not because it's a fickle bastard but because the flavors weren't to your liking, then I don't expect you'd enjoy most straight VA blends. I'd say stick with what you like!

    Opinions on the Prince Shape

    Awesome, thank you very much!

    Opinions on the Prince Shape

What's the shape number on that Peterson? It looks a heck of a lot smaller than any of the Peterson Prince shapes that I'm familiar with, so I'm assuming it's a new one I haven't heard of yet!

Unlikely to Ever Get to Try Penzance

To this point, if OP ever gets his hands on some, he'd probably be better off reselling it and using the funds to buy a half ton of some other blend!

Unlikely to Ever Get to Try Penzance

I'll second Plum Pudding. It's not really analogous to Penzance but I find that it scratches a similar itch for me. Also FWIW Penzance is great but not that great. I'd say in 2024 it's not worth the stress (mashing the refresh button once a year!) nor the expense (paying God knows what on...

STG closes Mac Baren and Sutliff

And here I thought the joke about Denmark being where blends go to die was just about the production quality... 😬

Good Way to Prepare GH flakes?

Also while I'm here, what the heck are meer chips? 😄

Good Way to Prepare GH flakes?

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this grinder thing, probably because my only familiarity with those kingtop contraptions is from friends who are into the "other leaf" using it to absolutely pulverize things into a fine dust, and that sounds like an awful way to smoke tobacco. 😅 Can...
