    I bought a Parker Super Briar Bark 4/F size 3 with what looks, at least to me, to be a replacement stem. Would this originally have had a stepped stem? I don’t like it and want to replace it with a black vulcanite stem.

    I just today received some Lapsang Souchong and Russian Caravan samples. I'm in love with the Lapsang! Have not had it with a pipe yet, though. Anxious to give it a try.

    Just got this BBB Silver Grain model 607 billiard really cheap off eBay. The stem sits strange. Would this have had a trim ring? All the similar models I’ve found online do not. Maybe the stem has been replaced at some point. I wonder if i could sand the stem down to where it mates up nicely...
