I bought a Parker Super Briar Bark 4/F size 3 with what looks, at least to me, to be a replacement stem. Would this originally have had a stepped stem? A Super Briar Bark would have had a black rubber stem with a fishtail bit and a P in a tall diamond logo. I’ll have to look later to be sure, but I don’t think the tenon is stepped.
Thanks for the info. Would love to find a replacement.

I realize I'm 2 weeks late to the party , but if you're looking for a regular fishtail it's really hard to "find" an exact match .
I sent a couple of pipes to Tim West for new stems & was very pleased with his work .

I’ve considered that option. I have next to nothing in the pipe so the expense makes sense. Glad to hear you were happy with the results.
