Yes, it is true. Along with a steep tax increase. most of the tobacconist don’t know shit about what they are selling anyways, so don’t expect usefull recommandations

Cornell and Diehl Now Available In The Uk!

Yes, more blends is always better! Looks like the C&D lineup in UK is similar to the one in Germany, mostly their staple blends I assume. Would love to have access to sunday picnic though

Cornell and Diehl Now Available In The Uk!

Carolina Red with perique was available in Germany. As was Sunbear, Sansepolcro and a few others small batch. So who knows?

Pesse Canoe Flakes Now Available In The UK

Looking forward to see their collaboration with Per Jensen. So far, I find their blend underwhelming.

However if you're after some true Semois, you will have to go to Waterloo "Au plaisir de vivre"

    Brussels, Belgium

My go-to places when in Brussels are Au roi du cigare et La tête d’or. Both sell pipe tobacco and cigars.

Pesse Canoe Flakes Now Available In The UK

Unfortunately not as good as it reads imho. But P. Jensen is supposedly helping them to improve their blends, let’s see what the future brings.

    Tobacco Supply Andorra

Never see, a C&D blend in Andorra. I had friends there yesterday for cigars, they just told me « no more blends than usual », which means only few. The price difference with Spain is not much, so if you find a blend you’re after in Spain get it there.

    Tobacco Supply Andorra

only very few pipe tobacco blends are available in Andorra (around 15 I’d say). Not worth a trip at all, Spain has a much wider choice. Andorra is the place to go for cigars, alcohol and cigarettes, but not for pipe tobacco blends.

    Getting Tobacco from Europe

The best long term solution. For both parties, as many here in EU would like to have access to some US-only blends. The most difficult part is to build trust

How Long to Smoke a Bowl?

Depends on the tobacco. Same pipe, from 15 min with Semois to more than 60 with a folded flake

Did we just lose Presbyterian in Europe?

It is discontinued in Europe. Not in the US. For other blends it is the opposite.

    Smokers Palate Anyone?

It happens to me from time to time, usually when I smoke more than 3 bols in a day. Restraining from smoking for a couple of days did not really help, what did was to smoke more slowly than usual (I am a pretty fast puffer), and to switch from virginia forward to burley forward blends for a...

Pick 5 Countries. Who from each makes/made the Best Pipes Under 500$?

This is a good list for pipes under 200 USD. For under 500, I'd buy from an artisan anyday. Stem work for instance is far superior on my artisan pipes, drilling is spot on, draw opended as I like it,.. You can get a tailored pipe for under 300 USD, so if you have the cash why bother buying a...

Did we just lose Presbyterian in Europe?

Yes, it has been axed in Europe. But should be available in the US. It is produced in Europe, go figure
