Hi - has anyone any recommendations for where to buy pipe tobacco in Brussels? I'm here for a couple or days and hoped to pick up some nice tobacco I can't get in the UK.

My go-to places when in Brussels are Au roi du cigare et La tête d’or. Both sell pipe tobacco and cigars.

However if you're after some true Semois, you will have to go to Waterloo "Au plaisir de vivre"

Last I heard Belgium passed an absolutely draconian law that forbids any display of tobacco products even at tobacco products, I don't recall reading whether employees are barred from making recommendations but I'd imagine they are. So I'd suggest knowing what specific things you want to get

Yes, it is true. Along with a steep tax increase. most of the tobacconist don’t know shit about what they are selling anyways, so don’t expect usefull recommandations
