    Peterson St. Patrick’s Day 2023

I'm hoping that this may be my chance to find a 53 with an acrylic stem. I asked Shane Ireland about them one time and he didn't think they could make them to specs with acrylic. But, I'm always looking. Normally, I don't collect or get excited about holiday pipes, but this 25th anniversary St...

New Presbyterian Danish Flake coming soon?

I recently came across a page (which has since been changed to a 404 Error page) at sutliffdistribution.com with a photo of a new tobacco being added to the Presbyterian line which expanded last Summer with Reformation. It is called Presbyterian Ordained and the tin art says "Danish Flake". I...

Pipes Keep Slipping Out of Clench

That is true, at least the good ones only come in black. I have seen clear ones before. Luckily, they only cover the bit which is hidden in your mouth while smoking.

    Labels

It really just comes down to personal preferences and how you store the jars. I keep most of mine in crates and boxes where I'd have to pull them out to see the labels on the sides. I look down onto my jar's lids, so naturally that's where I'd like the labels. I've managed to peal stickers off...

    Labels

That's always an option if you don't just use the Sharpie on the lids themselves, I guess. ;)

    Labels

If I ran an online tobacco retail, I'd at least want a section on the sight where customers could go to a list and download mason jar labels of the blends I sold, maybe even sized for different jar sizes. I make my own, but not everyone has the time and software to make them. Official stickers...

Pipes Keep Slipping Out of Clench

I used to say I "clench" my pipes, especially while driving, but I'm not clenching or biting down so much as I let the pipe hang between my teeth as you describe. I find Softy Bits work great to stabilize the pipe and keep it from moving around so much. They help create that friction we need. I...

    Labels

I'm not sure, and the same goes for square tins and C&D style tins. Although C&D inlay cards fit nicely inside a half-pint mason jar lid and sometimes they do re-print the tin art on them, example: Warped: Saint Espresso. When I asked Jeremy Reeves if they have ever considered making an inly...

    Making a zippo even better

I've never had a Copper one. Zippo released a limited edition of them earlier this year in fact, with a first time ever Black insert which looked beautiful next to the copper. They were out of my price range, of course.

The Root Cause of Tongue Bite

I've always felt that people who complain about a tobacco or a pipe being "bad" or of getting tongue bite from either are not considering all the things that could cause them to have a bad smoking experience. I rarely blame the tobacco or the pipe before ruling out as many variables as I can...

Has Sir Walter Raleigh Original Changed Recently?

I sure hope it hasn't changed too much. Sir Walter Raleigh is one I smoke multiple time a week and I only have a few 14oz tubs left. I had no idea that the 7oz cans were produced in Denmark. Thanks for posting.

    Making a zippo even better

I've always been drawn to Zippo's of plain designs; Polished Chrome, Brass, etc., but after my Polished Brass Armor became tarnished, I'd buff it back to a lustrous shine again, but it continued to dull from handling. I eventually gave up on trying to keep it shiny and decided to go the other...
