Thanks to this thread, I just remembered that I have a tin of unopened Haddos from two years ago sitting in the storage bin. I should open and smoke it now.
With the recent C&D sale at SP, I bought a few blends that I haven't tried before along with the free tasting journal notebooks. Looking forward to sampling these blends and jot down my notes with different colors of fountain pen inks.
Blue Train was my initiation into Coltrane's body of work. After I read biographies about his life, listening to A Love Supreme meant so much more now to me.
I wish there are listening bars here in Los Angeles that are fashioned after the OG jazz listening bars in Japan... and also allow pipe smoking while sipping a cup of Joe. I can dream, right?
PS Luxury Bullseye Flake - It has such a wonderful sweet and caramel flavor after it's been aged for at least a year. Peterson Deluxe Navy Rolls is great too.
I don't have a favorite blend since I haven't tried them all, which is almost an impossible task. But if a blend that I like goes on sale, I tend to buy a one pounder in bulk or 2-3 tins if bulk version isn't available.
