***What Are You Smoking, March 2021?***

John Cotton's Double Pressed Latakia in a Molina Giante. This thing is Brobdingnagian! The tobacco is great and burns slow, after 2 hours, I just had to go do other things, but I could have smoked another half hour. This is a great tobacco blend if you like lat.

    Match Early Morning

In case anyone is interested, tobaccopipes.com has a Sutliff Match for Early Morning on sale for $1 for a 1.5 oz. pouch, which seems to me a good deal even for mediocre tobacco.

***What Are You Smoking, March 2021?***

Yesterday. I had C&D's Bayou Nights and Seattle Pipe Club's Hood Canal. Both smoked in Manelli pipes and excellent.

    Manelli

Just smoked some Fusilier's Ration in this pipe. As far as I can tell, they're about as well made and smoke as well as any other pipe. I will have no hesitation in buying more of them.

    Manelli

STEFANO SANTAMBROGIO. I was typing too quickly.
  6. Aging_Hipster

    Manelli

Of course, thanks for catching that.
  7. Aging_Hipster

    Manelli

Will do. I have received it. Only took a week from Italy. Smokes great with or without the filter.
  8. Aging_Hipster

    Manelli

This is a new one I just got from Manelli. A "Srefano Santambrogio" I'll take it out on a shakedown cruise this afternoon.

That is an esthetically pleasing pipe.

***What Are You Smoking, March 2021?***

Had Hearth and Home's White Knight in a Barracini Devil Anse. This is my idea of an absolutely nondescript tobacco. Neither good nor bad, so not worth the time. I dumped it, tossed the tin and refilled with C&D's Black Duck. A much more pleasurable smoke.

    Greetings from Istanbul/Turkey

Istanbul is my favorite city in the world. Seeing it from the water after passing the Dardanelles is an experience no one could ever forget. Welcome and enjoy my envy for living in such a magnificent place.

    G. L. Pease Maltese Falcon in a Manelli Pipe. The pipe smokes great and MF is becoming one of my favorites. Rich, smooth and smoky.

***What Are You Smoking, March 2021?***

Hearth and Home Black House in a Don Vito by Manelli. This time I used the included filter adapter. Worked perfectly!

***What Are You Smoking, March 2021?***

Orient Express in a Nording Freehand. Divine.

***What Are You Smoking, March 2021?***

    G. L. Pease Maltese Falcon in a Genod giant churchwarden. Excellent stuff. Mellow, but smoky. If I may be pretentious, a very contemplative smoke.

    Filter Adapter

So for the Rattray's Coloss, the only way it will go in is the big end toward the bowl. Seems to work fine though.
  17. Aging_Hipster

    Filter Adapter

The adapter works really well in the Rattray, so if you like them, give it a try.
  18. Aging_Hipster

    Filter Adapter

I mostly don't mind filters. But the Rattray's I have has a short stem and they get clogged quickly. Seems to wok well.

***What Are You Smoking, March 2021?***

John Cotton's Double Pressed Latakia in a Moonshine Cannonball. Now that I've figured out how to prepare and pack it, it's divine. Smoky and subtle. Pure pleasure.
