So..... i tossed the 1.5 oz of bulk HB i had and cracked open a new tin. That made the difference, i get the nutty spiciness of it and it lasts the whole bowl, no flatness. Idk what was up with bulk purchase from a local shop, but it was no good.- deadidunn

I have a couple oz that I bought from bulk at a local shop. I just can't seem to like it much. I get very little flavor and it seems flat from 3/4 bowl and down. Do You Like Latakia in the Winter and Virginia in the Summer? G.L. Pease Discusses for Aug 22 Column
I do prefer lighter blends in the summer days, VaPer's and Virginia's. I'm a fan of DFK anytime, unless I'm miserably hot. I enjoy Three Nuns with a small camp fire using smaller twigs and sticks. The taste of Three Nuns reminds of that same smoke essence. I have plenty of Latakia in stock...- deadidunn

Chain Saws
I have a MS311 and MS170. I've had the 311 for about 3 or 4 years, the 170.....probably 14 years or so, and run a 290 a good bit. Stihl's are great, but a little finicky to start if not used regularly, but once you do as Stihl suggests, it'll always start. I appreciate a good day of...- deadidunn
