I wouldn't focus on how many relights. Mine depends on packing methods, tobacco cut, and individual pipes. It will get easier as time goes by.- deadidunn

Phrases, Words and Mispronunciations That Bother You

What Do You Re-Purpose
I take altoid and tobacco tins, stuff them full of mini-survival kits and give them to friends and family for their vehicles or ORVs. Para-cord, fire starter, fishing tackle, band-aids, survival cards, etc, various little things like that.- deadidunn

I taught Louisiana CHP classes for several years. I spent a large time going over Louisiana law and then gave 3 stories of various situations that turned bad for the person using his CCW. Even if deemed legal by law; civil suits are always possible and ruin your life.- deadidunn

Jim's John Cotton's Double Pressed Creme Review.
I enjoy this blend, i like the fact that the vanilla isn't heavily found. It makes for a nice smooth bowl IMO. I'm a fan of the whole JCDP line; they're all champs in my book. The DP Kentucky kick started me heavily into DFK blends; love the stuff.- deadidunn

Pipe Smoking Mishaps
Holes in my favorite Harley shirt, as well as couple more shirts. Dropped one of my Savinelli's that my wife gave me, but only sustained some dents in the briar. Matches vs. Lighters
I generally use my Kiribi Takara or a bic; but after my first seeing this thread, i tried some matches. Wasn't as hot during relights and seemed to give good control for an even light across the bowl. I generally have an issue with broken flake making a center ember, but matches help keep it...- deadidunn
