Hello all. This month I've made my 1st year of pipe smoking. Prior attempts were made in times past, but i had always just set it aside. Honestly, it was because it wasn't pleasant at all for me and not worth the trouble to figure it out. Mistakes in technique were many and my initial tobacco...
This is my first attempt at a review; so hopefully it won't be too terrible.
The Country Squire Tobbacconist "Middle Earth" blends intrigued me because i was reading The Hobbit and LOTR. Below are the 3 blends I've tried so far.

On the company site, it says this is a Traditional...
"That's the way we've always done it", doesn't mean there isn't a better or more efficient way. That one bugs me tremendously.
"Duh" or "Doi" are some I can't stand as well.

Holes in my favorite Harley shirt, as well as couple more shirts. Dropped one of my Savinelli's that my wife gave me, but only sustained some dents in the briar.
I have distributed a newly open can of snuff due to driving and an uncontrolled sneeze when i was about to take a dip out of it...
I generally use my Kiribi Takara or a bic; but after my first seeing this thread, i tried some matches. Wasn't as hot during relights and seemed to give good control for an even light across the bowl. I generally have an issue with broken flake making a center ember, but matches help keep it...
