    How does one remove the oxidation on a silver mounted spigot stem? Do you immerse all of the stem or should you only soak the stem and keep the silver out of the de-oxidizing solution?

    Re-Stemming a Pre-Republic 1935 Pete Bulldog?

    I recently picked up a nice Peterson bulldog with a silver band hallmarked in 1935. Sadly it did not have a stem, and was priced extremely low. Would this pipe be worth sending to Peterson's to have it re-stemmed? Photos incoming, after I figure out the new site.
