    Mac Baren’s Investment in SNUS

Snus is about as safe as tobacco can get.

What is the best Savinelli pipe?

Bing favorite obviously. While it won't make you a better singer it will make your singing smoother. And that's just a fact.

    Happy to be here

Cool. History is just kind of very highly interesting American or otherwise (little biased). If milk and Brandy is better then it sounds a pipe and milk might be just fine. Will have to try it now. And yeah being off most social media is probably good for the old mental health.

Trapped in Self-Driving Taxi Going in Circles

It's kind of crazy when you realize these companies are basically running tests that involve all of us on the road.

Trapped in Self-Driving Taxi Going in Circles

part of me feels like the guy just needed an extra day off and faked being stuck in the taxi.

    New FDA Nicotine Restrictions

Sounds like not really a thing if you ask me. I.e. making a mountain out of a molehill.

New Interview with Per G Jensen on Mac Baren's Demise

makes sense. Including how that's precisely one of the things which anti-trust is supposed to stop.

    Ugliest Pipe award

Primary question with any pipe is how does it smoke. Rather smoke an ugly pipe that is a great smoker then a beautiful pipe that fights you for the smoke. Kind of like with ladies. Rather have one I get along with then one that is pretty. Rather it be both but if I have to choose. Oh an I have...

can't go wrong with anything you learn from that movie. As I always say what have the Romans done for us?

What Will Be The Most Sought-After Sutliff Blends 5 Years From Now?

it's got some real charms though the kind that aren't easy to find all too often. I can see people getting a serious yen for the stuff.

What Will Be The Most Sought-After Sutliff Blends 5 Years From Now?

Depends. I think mixture 79 will be. I think EGR will be. With the lack of many coin options I think those will have some demand. I don't think any will be McClelland moments. But I have known a few smokers that only smoke MacB. I am sure they'll pay a premium for an old favorite.

    Brebbia Gala Argento

I'll have to photograph mine. It's a big old lumberman. Wonderful pipe. Had it for 30 years and it's still in great shape. Sorta fits in that weird space of factory made hand finished awesomeness.

Does Anyone Else Have Bad Smokes?

nope. Sometimes they start getting bad but then I don't smoke. I used to fight it but I find I am happier if I just wait for better conditions or just start over.

Are we really losing that much with the closures of Mac Baren and Sutliff?

Some of those are ones they distribute in some places. If I understand what I am looking at. Well fun fact Germany has the most pipe smokers per capita last time I checked ten years ago.

I know more then a few older smokers who have the blend. Anything else they won't even try.
