Unmarked Comoy's 36B Apple?
Again - I'm pretty sure it's 368, not 36B. However - I'm really not sure how you come to the believe it's a Comoy's pipe if it doesn't have any markings/stampings at all. Perhaps the pipe is somewhat similar to a Comoy's shape 368 you display, but if you ask me, the shape is slightly different...- gripsie

But IF that's a Comoy's, 7charb, I'd rather guess that it's a shape 334, the large Apple with the thicker shank. At least it looks slightly more chubby to me. Ah, and coming back to the initial question: At least I've seen some/many pipes that cleary were made by Comoy's but not stamped "Comoy's". You could recognize them from the shape number stamping. Hm, that's strange. I have this Comoy's Sandblast here, and it's clearly a 368. Also, the Comoy's shape chart only knows the 368. https://pipedia.org/wiki/Comoy%27s_Shape_Number_Chart However, beautiful shape and beautiful pipes displayed. I love that medium size apple/globe. Best, Eddy- gripsie

1895 Birmingham Hallmark Mistaken for 1876
Actually, I'm a little unsure about the stem as well. With a screw tenon I even doubt it can be turned further 180 degrees to make it flush fit. I feel the new owner could be having to deal with a stem that's perhaps even wabbling around in the shank a little/ not fitting very tight. I'm somehow...- gripsie
