    I smoke outside...

I rent also, so I smoke outside. It's been pretty chilly here the last few days in Pine Mountain, Ga. and I have to go out for smoke breaks when I'm working in Columbus. I'm thinking about investing in an air purifier so I can maybe smoke in the house.

Well the wife and I did our "junking" today and I was specifically looking for any pipes or accessories I might find. I found this 12 pipe pipe rack for $15.00. The felt on the bottom is still good and after some wiping down and Howard's feed and wax it looks pretty good. Also started my...

    My first pipe

I've Been smoking the "doublegate" tobacco I got from the B&M and really enjoy it. I'm starting to get the knack of lighting and tamping and it has been a great experience. My cigarette smoking has dropped considerably. I've gotten a few snide remarks from some of the guys at work at the smoking...

I'm sorry to hear that. I know companies that need to downsize need to do it before their fiscal year is over but it's a very bad time!!!

    My first pipe

Thanks, something I learned on the first draw as a cigarette smoker...don't inhale!!! lol I was glad I read the tips here that helped with when to tamp...etc. I filled the bowl about half full (a few pinches) after tamping figuring I would have a short smoke I am surprised that the tobacco...

Well I went to the smoke shop, sweet briar's in Columbus Ga. near where I work. I explained to the person (Brett I believe his name is) that I was just starting out and didn't want to get too pricey but also I wanted to start with a nice pipe so my first will be as enjoyable as possible.I got a...

It's a little over 10" high with locking beveled glass door. Has holders for 2 pipes in back. Has a 3 1/2" diameter spot for I guess a tobacco jar or round tin. It's about 5 1/2" deep I believe.

Small pipe cabinet purchase-pics now there

My wife and I love to go antiquing, more like junking, on the weekends and we hit our usual joints on Saturdays and Sundays. Last weekend I saw this small pipe cabinet and it had $68.00 on it. The owner called the vendor and he kindly lowered it to $50 bucks. The only thing was no key! I...

Welcome New Members. Introduce Yourself. (2)

Hi all, I'm from Pine Mountain, Ga. I'm 54 years old and haven't smoked a pipe in like 20 years. I've decided that it's time to drop the cigarette habit and start with the pipe. I don know where to start but am going to visit the smoke shop tomorrow and try to get a clue.
