Straight Pipe Smokers
As a noob, I've been partial to bent pipe shapes , however I've read where some experienced smokers have gravitated to straight pipes even though they started with bent shapes. I like to be able to clench easily and also have a good view of the bowl as I light it, but my question is what is it...- tony767

Estate Pipe Question
Hello, everyone. I am currently considering my first estate pipe purchase and need a little advice. The one I am interested in rates a 4.75/5 and has "mild charring at the bottom of the chamber". Is this charring anything to be worried about? It's from a very reputable vendor. Let me know...- tony767

Blue Fingers?
I've recently acquired a Peterson Atlantic Series Bent Apple (03) and really enjoy how it smokes. However, I've noticed it stains my fingers blue where I hold it?!? Has anyone else had this problem? Will it stop by itself or do I need to seal it or something? Any help would be appreciated...- tony767
