[/url][/img] I have a similar pre-colored canted billiard. Mine is a premier. The stain will be most often referred to as oxblood or dragons blood stained. Can't say that I've ever seen a pre-color bubble like that though. Cool Pipe- aimus1

some cleaned up antiques "pic heavy"
Pretty sure the claw was a pre-colored meer. Sometimes referred to "oxblood" or "dragonsblood" stained. Same goes for the Premier billiard and the hand holding bowl. I think the hand holding bowl wasn't smoked nearly as much as the Premier billiard and the claw. I haven't seen many recent...- aimus1

Way more info than I imagined anyone would have! Genuinely grateful my friend. The case says Max Zapf St Loius MO. The shank is stamped M.Z. and under that is stamped A.1. I couldn't find any history on him at all. Awesome!! -
