Thank you brothers, I knew they were quite old, but really had no idea.
I got these from an old lady whose husband passed away a few years ago and he was a pipe smoker. I also got 1 tin of Davidoff Royalty dating from 1972, 1 Dunhill Royal Yacht and 1 Dunhill Standard Medium.
I've got 3 sealed tins of vintage Balkan Sobranie but only one of them has a code stamped on the back. The other 2 came in a box.
I'd like to know how old these tins are but can't find any clue about it. Can anyone help me out?
stvalentine, indeed it is!
vorhees, I got at a local shop, as a gift from buying cigars.
oldmannk, It came as part of a Cuesta Rey Cigars promotion.
NOLA Cajun, thanks. I'm in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Thaks guys, it's really proven useful to me.
This I got at a local shop here, I bought some Cuesta Rey cigars and it came with them. It is actually called the Cuesta Rey Valet. I don't know if it's still available.
But before I had it I used those office drawer organizers as my smoking tray...
This is my smoking tray.
I'm not a neat freak, it just makes things easier when I'm smoking at home. As I live in an apartment, I smoke on the balcony and I bring it with me everytime.
You guys ever use something like that?
Hello pipe smokers,
A friend of mine is going to Houston/TX next month for a convention. Is there any nice tobacco store in this area that you recommend?
Thanks
