    This May be Heresy........

Not a fan either, as I like to clench.

    Matches vs. Lighters

Matches exclusively, not wanting to burn the rim of the pipe, and yes, outside.

    Neerup Pipe Question

I have 2 Neerups, both Rhodesian shape and they do a fine job. As has been mentioned, I would try different loading methods, the Frank method works well in a large bowl, good luck!

Jim's C&D Steamworks (Small Batch) Review.

While not an Oriental variant fan, this with the various Virginia's and St. James Perique could be interesting. Thanks for the review.

    Tobacco Reviews Website Update

It was quite the surprise when trying to access the site this afternoon. I guess this was inevitable.

    1792 Flake by Samuel Gawith

This is one I haven't tried in twenty years, and from what I remember is that it is unique. I may have to revisit, thanks for the reminder.

    Viprati

No, something got in the way of breaking it in, so I'll just back up and regroup. I know it's waiting.

    Viprati

Received this beauty in the post today, my first Viprati, I'll see how she does on the first burn this weekend.

Show Us Your Comoy's (Collectors Thread)

Recent acquisition, a Guildhall from the 1960's? The stamping is very faint: The Guildhall London pipe, reverse Made in London(in a circle) England, shape 23. Curious about the Sterling Silver mount versus Sterling London. A very good smoker.

Richmond Show for 2022 is Cancelled

Well that's to bad, I thought it would have been a good venue, with the exception of it being close to Petersburg, availability of rooms, eateries et al. It seems the interest in Pipe shows has diminished?

    C&D Anthology 1992-2022

Picked up 5 tins at 0345, good luck if shopping.

    C&D Anthology 1992-2022

It's easy to critique this release, but I will say that the folks at C&D are always taking it up a notch. I would be interested in the aging of this one, along with other boutique Virginia/Perique blends they have in their catalog.
