    FVF - Curious First Impressions

There was a time when finding this blend was very difficult, I’m talking almost Stonehaven difficult. Well once I finally scored a couple tins and smoke a few bowls, I just couldn’t understand what all of the fuss was about. My problem turned out to not be the tobacco, but my preparation and...

    Comoy's "Patina" Bulldog Restoratoion

Very nice Al. Thanks Jon... I smoked a pipe for the first time back in 1974, and I forgotten just how reasonable pipes were back then in comparison to today. The only place you could buy pipes and tobacco in the small Colorado town I lived in was the local drugstore.

    Sad News, Harris Has Passed

Farewell Harris... you were an opinionated and often overbearing SOB, which is probably why so many of us enjoyed your contributions here. If you could have chosen how you were to leave this world, I’m guessing that passing in your sleep was second only to being in the arms of a beautiful women…...

    Empty Nest Starts Now.

They may wonder back home for awhile after college if you allow them, With today's economy and high rent costs, getting started on their own can be a challenge. A parent's challenge if they do come back is not to make them so comfortable that they never leave and start their own adult life.

    Who Doesn't Enjoy Plum Pudding?

I first tried and enjoyed Mississippi River several years back, which lead me to try Plum Pudding. I did not like it at all, but after a little age and trying it in the right pipe everything changed and I now enjoy it once in a while.

The Most Famous Tacos in the World... and My Achilles Heel

I grew up in Arizona eating what till this day I consider the best Mexican Food in this country. When it came to fast food and especially late at night Jack in the Box Tacos were my go to. I feel about their tacos like many people that grew up in Chicagoland feel about White Castle.

    Your Favorite Sandwich?

There are not many mentioned that I don't really enjoy, but here's one I like to whip up for myself once in awhile... Do We Have A Famous Member Among Us?

I'm thinking Brad aka Old Cajun is really James Caan, he just allowed his facial hair to grow, put on a ball cap, and moved south to live out his life as one of us. BTW... I loved you in "El Dorado" with John Wayne and Robert Mitchum.
