Yello Bole Chinrester with crack in shank
I bought this pretty little chinrester with propeller emblem in an antique store in Ohio for $20. Got home and noticed a crack in the stem. Should i try to repair it, put on a ring, leave it alone or make it a display piece? The stem is still really tight so i don’t want to glue and clamp it.- Phiredog

Parker Stem - Stepped?
I bought a Parker Super Briar Bark 4/F size 3 with what looks, at least to me, to be a replacement stem. Would this originally have had a stepped stem? I don’t like it and want to replace it with a black vulcanite stem.- Phiredog

BBB Silver Grain - Stem not flush
Just got this BBB Silver Grain model 607 billiard really cheap off eBay. The stem sits strange. Would this have had a trim ring? All the similar models I’ve found online do not. Maybe the stem has been replaced at some point. I wonder if i could sand the stem down to where it mates up nicely...- Phiredog
