For some reason I no longer get a numeric alerts counter over the little "bell" icon in the upper right hand corner of the Forums page. I also only get 1 email at most every day with updates/alerts, I used to get several a day. Did I accidentally change a setting somewhere? I just rolled over...- rmcnabb

Smashing Success with Salt Cleaning
I bought a lovely Bjarne Brebbia 925 off of ebay but it stunk to high heaven with some kind of incense essense. It wasn't Lakeland, I don't know what it was, but it was intolerable. So I tenatively decided to clean it with the salt and alcohol treatment you see advised. It worked perfectly... -

Just a heads up for those in southeast TN that are looking for a nice shop with a good assortment of Diehl, Pease, MacB, etc. Williams Tobacco is a BnM that I always try to patronize and if you’re coming down I 75 on the way to Atlanta it’s worth a 15 minute detour if you need a tin. I bought these tins of Dunhill Nightcap and Royal Yacht many years ago - maybe 15 - 20 years ago. Stupidly, I didn't write the date on them. Can someone decipher the labels and tell me if there is date information on them? Thanks.- rmcnabb
