The Longer Stem The Cooler Smoke?
I got this pipe (a Ukrainian product by the way) for my birthday. Nice long thing :) I didn't notice the smoke being cooler, is it a legend or truth? Came with a pouch of Danish tobacco, really nice. -

Does Everyone Use Pipe Filters?
Title edited for caps. And the answer is no. I'm using 9mm filters with my pipe and looking at them after just two smokes I feel like everyone should :)- viktor

How Long does a Smoke Last?
Mine does 10-13 minutes. Are there bigger pipes that you can smoke for a half an hour or more? There must be some metrics to figure this out. Sorry if this is a stupid question :) Cheers.- viktor

Is a Zippo Suitable for Pipes?
Problem #1: when you put your zippo in horizontal position there's not much flame going up. Problem #2, much more important: tasting the fuel in your mouth for an hour after smoking.
