Please "School Me" on Perique.
I've just got a morning bowl of Mc Conell's Red Virginia (which is... red virgina with touch of perique) and here it comes. The black pepper taste is very prominent, fermented fruit tastes takes the back seat. So far what I know - perique it's some tobacco strain which sits fermented in it's own...- visualmemory

Thoughts on Aging
Title edited for brevity and hopefully clarity. Original- So apparently (contrary to popular beliefs), (just a little) cellaring might improve an aromatic blend (and "spoil" a non aromatic one) Ok, maybe a little misleading title. Corncobs - maybe not always a good idea
Corncobs are always recomended to new smokers as a cheap alternative to "proper" pipes. They are convinient, cheap, good enough so why not.
