Should I keep the same pattern for pipe dedication?

I don't smoke burley for the most part. It tastes like dirt to me. Closest I have is Grey Havens, and it is still sealed.

Should I keep the same pattern for pipe dedication?

Well I now have a decent amount of pipes. I have 4 unamoked and trying to decide what to dedicate them to. Thus far my bent bulldogs have been dedicated to English or lat blends and my one bent billiard to VA and VA per. Unamoked I have 3 bent billiards and 1 bent bulldog. So the question is ...

    Any experience with Castleford?

Well i spoke with cupojoes today and they said the pipe was mqde in England in the Dunhill factory. It js the exact size of the 5102 from Dunhill. They believe it is handmade but not 100% sure. I have seen videos on how dunhills are made and unless they changed how they make them, they are made...

    Any experience with Castleford?

I love the Dunhill Amber Root and unfortunatly can't find the shape I am looking for plus quite pricey if I do find one. My favorite carver and friend Les Wood is looking at retiring soon and doesn't want to do a new stain even if I buy the powder as he would never use it, so that leaves me...

Need some guidance on a new pipe purchase

If you are thinking dunhill i would suggest you look at Ferndown, Ashton, and Askwith pipes. Ferndown is mqde by Les Wood. He was a dunhill carver and silversmith. He comtinues in the dunhill tradition and i fond his pipes superior to modern dunhills. Ashton is another company that was founded...

Visiting the James Upshall Factory last week

Maybe this is the answer to the question of are they currently making pipes. Barry Jones seemed to disappear shortly after Motty bought the business and always got the same excuse that he was on Holliday when I asked if I could have a pipe made. I never really trusted the new owners and still...

Whats the Difference in Virginias Regarding Tongue bite?

    Are Bulldog Pipes Expensive?

Well one is going to a friend and will leave me with 5. I might just get a 7 day set of Ferndown bent bulldogs, that way I can have as many of other brands as I want and not affect the numbers lol.

    Any blackberry blends?

    Are Bulldog Pipes Expensive?

Man that was all jumbled. You can find inexpensive bulldogs out there from Peterson and many factory brands, but the ones with tighter tolerances and better carving skill will be more expensive. Give us your budget and we will try to help.

    Are Bulldog Pipes Expensive?

Some makers like Chris Askwith charge.more for the bulldog as it is anymore difficult shape to make. You don't want an bulldog. No one likes them then I have to dispose of them. These are not the pipe shape you are looking for. Move along, move along.
