Very good show, definitely made me despise Leonard a bit less. I hope that he's right that this will be ultimately better for the pipe tobacco industry in the long run; but I'm still switching over to GL Pease and Gawith from STG...which he seemed to completely understand anyway.- damacene

That's a fair take, but since I heard the news I've acquired enough Match 965, Seattle Evening, Hood Canal, and Potlatch to last me several decades of smoking. If I do buy any blends going forward it will be Gaslight and Charing Cross. Probably Carolina red flake with Perique too when that comes...- damacene

I do, but at least C&D manufactures their products in America and hires American workers. Laudasi has corporate offices in South Carolina and I'm sure that's primarily Americans working there. I think that's why a lot of people are looking to East Asia to keep the tobacco industry going. That's why a lot of the anti-cigarette stuff I hear from some pipe smokers irks me. No cigarettes = none of that lovely Virginia tobacco we all love.- damacene
